The Core of Life

For all practical purposes, the Core of Life is the beginning of all beginnings. It is the consciousness from which all life came forth. While there have likely been cycles of development prior to the Core of Life, they are not known to us. It should be understood that life has been, is, and always will be. The previous cycle of development was completed within the Core of Life, and from this completion we moved into the present cycle of existence.

In but a second in time every soul spewed forth from this consciousness of the Core of Life. Every soul came from that one source. At that moment, each soul possessed the same infinite wisdom and the same knowledge, equal unto a God consciousness. There was no variation, no difference in development, and no individuality.

From the Core of Life, consciousness moved into a new realm of expression known as the Zimare. In our philosophy, Zimare denotes the beginning, the point at which a new cycle for the expression of the God consciousness began. As we said earlier, in the Core of Life there was one singular consciousness. In the Zimare, there are separate consciousnesses existing within a collective state. This marks the first movement away from a singular consciousness to a collective group consciousness.

In the Zimare, consciousness first divided into four primary expressions or kingdoms: the human, the animal, the plant, and the mineral. These kingdoms represent distinct forms through which consciousness would express and develop.

Within these kingdoms, consciousness expresses itself at different levels. The human kingdom began its process of individualization and expressed its choices through free agency. In the animal kingdom, while each form carries its own consciousness, expression remains largely within a group pattern, without the same degree of individual choice. The animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms have not yet started their process of individualization. This reflects differing stages in the progression of development and expression.

It is the human kingdom that continued the process of further division. Within the human consciousness, each soul then divided into counterparts: the Alpha soul and the Omega soul. These are not separate in essence, but are two expressions of the same original consciousness. Each contains within itself the other, much like the yin-yang symbol illustrates.

The Alpha is 51% alpha and 49% omega, and the Omega is 51% omega and 49% alpha, so there is only a 2% net difference between the two types of soul. Though appearing as two, they remain one in origin. The Omega is the source of the power, and the Alpha is the demonstrator, or the action, of that power.

It is important to understand that whether one is an Alpha soul or an Omega soul, each will have incarnations as both male, to express the Alpha qualities, and as female, to express the Omega qualities.

It is during the process of separating from one soul into the counterparts of Alpha and Omega, the mortal ego was created. This was not accidental, it was necessary. The creation of the mortal ego established a duality within the individual. Through this duality, the soul granted its free agency to the mortal consciousness so that the mortal may choose. Until that choice is consciously made, the wisdom of the soul cannot be brought into the conscious state of the individual. Through this granting of free agency, the process of individualization begins.

At this point, other than the Zimare, there was nothing. As consciousness continued to express and expand, creation itself unfolded. Through that expression, from the ether were formed seven, and only seven, universes, which remain in existence. These universes arose as a manifestation of collective consciousness, brought forth through thought. The physical and etheric realities are therefore subject to this collective consciousness.

From these came the etheric planes, and over time the physical planes came into being. The physical is a consequence of the etheric. This is not a separate creation, but something that, in a manner of speaking, sloughed off from the etheric.  The physical universe follows the etheric and, in a very rough sense, may be understood as lagging behind it. This is not meant as a literal measure of time, but as a way to understand that the etheric precedes and gives rise to the physical, and that what is expressed in the physical is first established in the etheric.

The purpose of this entire process is individualization. Individualization is not separation from the whole. It is the individual expression of the totality. Each soul progresses to become more individualized while still remaining part of the collective consciousness.

From the Zimare the cycle of incarnation begins. The physical plane serves this development. The soul incarnates into the physical world to bring its wisdom into conscious reality. The mortal consciousness, initially dormant to that wisdom, is tempered through experience and through choice. As the mortal chooses in alignment with the soul, the wisdom of the soul becomes consciously known.

When the cycle of incarnations of the Wheel of Life is completed, the process of development does not end, but continues beyond the physical plane. An individual must then progress through a multitude of astral planes of consciousness.

The completion of this process is to become a Pillar of Light. A Pillar of Light is an individual who has experienced all experiences and understood all experiences. Having reached this pinnacle, a Pillar of Light has fully realized and is in union with the God consciousness and expresses that God consciousness as an individual. It is the culmination of individualization, the point at which the soul, having brought its wisdom into conscious reality, expresses that wisdom in full awareness.

The movement from the Core of Life through division, experience, and individualization to this state is the full cycle of existence. This cycle is referred to as the Grand Wheel of Life. This is not to be confused with the Wheel of Life as it is commonly used to describe reincarnation. The Wheel of Life pertains to the process of incarnation within the physical plane, while the Grand Wheel of Life encompasses the entire progression from a singular consciousness in the Core of Life to full individual expression as a Pillar of Light.

Thus, from the single consciousness in the Core of Life came the Zimare and the movement from the one to the many. From this came the formation of the kingdoms. From the human kingdom came division into Alpha and Omega. From that division came the mortal consciousness and the gift of free agency and choice. And through that choice comes the process of individualization, by the conscious expression of the wisdom of the soul. The completion of this cycle is to become a Pillar of Light. From the one came the many, and as the many, we are to express the one individually. That is the purpose of the cycle of the Grand Wheel of Life.

Go in light and grow in peace.
